At Alliant Healthcare Solutions, the national healthcare practice of Alliant Insurance Services, we look beyond the basics to drive continuous improvement in our clients’ total cost of risk (TCOR) and thus increase their margins and profitability.
 
This process starts with strategic planning-–risk financing should not be a tactical exercise—to develop short- and long-term goals. The action plans are usually many, but can be merged into a single concept—execution. Even the best plan can fail if not properly executed. A great renewal can become a nightmare if delivered at the last minute, with poor documentation that leads to coverage disputes.
 
At Alliant, our clients benefit from careful execution of all action plans, including loss and exposure analyses, development of alternative program structures, insurance and reinsurance placement, and proactive loss control initiatives. All of these and our other services are provided in accordance with an agreed-upon timeline. While we can’t always avoid the surprises the markets may deliver, through proper execution we can anticipate and mitigate the stress associated with these rare events.
 
At Alliant, we don’t rest on our laurels. The result of the each plan and our execution of that plan are periodically evaluated to quantify the actual savings and to drive further improvement in the strategic and tactical plans. Over the last three years most of our clients have seen annual reductions in their TCOR ranging from 10% to 40%. These results are not just market driven, but also broker driven, based on disciplined execution of well considered plans.
